Yes that is right, tomorrow (Thurs the 28th) at Eclipse Lounge on Butler street in Lawrenceville you can meet and greet your neighbors and friends at our Friend Raising event. We will have live jazz by Slide Worldwide from 6-10 pm and lots of fun and prizes throughout the evening. Come and learn more about Who's Your Brother and what they are doing in the community to help your neighbors. And what you can do to help no matter how big or small. [Highland Park] Looking for shipping boxes

I'm looking for a few longer boxes to ship some items in. The length is between 22 and 32 inches. They don't have to be wide, as the items are fairly thin, but I'm willing to take wider boxes if that will save me from having to buy some. Would anyone happen to have any that they no longer need? Hello neighbors, this evening, Wednesday, June 27th, from 5-7pm is the regularly scheduled weeding in the park. Angela Masters, from the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy will be there to help. I am unable to go tonight, so I spent time this morning and completed the left side entrance garden. It doesn't take that long, and the benefit of beautiful flowers to greet your walk is the reward. Neighbors - A few weeks ago I contacted Bill Peduto's office when I saw an article in the paper about re-use of Schenley, and encouraged city council to encourage the board of education to revisit its use as a school. Given what we now know (the lack of presence of asbestos) that seems even more of a possibility. At any rate, he has put me on his mailing list of some public meetings to talk about potential uses for Schenley. So please share this flyer with people whom you think might be interested. There is a meeting tonight, June 27, in Oakland. Schenley grads – maybe you or some of your friends would have input that the neighborhood would find useful, so please consider attending and/or forwarding to your friends.
