[Highland Park] Needed: Your In-Kind Donation to A Flavor of The East End

Good Afternoon. Flavor 2012 Logo.PNGEECM's 6th Annual A Flavor of The East End is on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters in the Strip. For the past few years, we have been able to get EECM supporters to donate a pair of tickets to a Steelers game for the upcoming season. We then use these tickets for our Silent Auction in a 'Steelers Season Ticket Package' which gives the auction winner two tickets to every game, but in different seats at each game! The funds raised from the Silent Auction go directly to EECM programs. I have received commitments for the 2 Preseason Games and half of the Regular Season games thus far. I am looking for 4 pairs of tickets to be donated by you, friends of yours or the company you work for to donate a pair of tickets to a regular season game for the 2012-2013 season. The schedule does not come out until mid-April so I am just looking for a commitment that you are willing to donate a pair of tickets. Dear Neighbors, I represent the shameless commerce division of Girl Scout Troop 54281. Seems that there has been a shift in return policy regarding unopened cases of Girl Scout Cookies. My Troop has 9 pristine cases (12 boxes in a case) of Girl Scout Cookies which need to be sold. I thought we were all set and could return the cookies, but no. If anyone is interested in more, MORE, mOrE Girl Scout Cookies for your household, office parties, weddings, birthday parties, please let me know and we can make an arrangement for delivery/pickup. We of St. Andrew's are hosts this evening, Tuesday, March 13, in the 11th Annual East End Lenten Series. Theme this year is "Salt and Light" (Salt of the Earth, Light of the World): "Reflections on Christian Leadership in this Season of Discernment, as we Prepare for the Election of our next Bishop." Our preacher is Ms. Dana Phillips, a member of St. Thomas Church, Oakmont, and the Chair of the Nominations Committee for the Election of the Eighth Bishop Diocesan of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh.
