Hi HPers! I dropped the ball and didn't get tickets for my children to go see author Rick Riordan at the Carnegie Lecture Hall on Wed Oct 5. Apparently they sold out last week in two days. If anyone has tickets, and you realize at some point you can't make it, I would LOVE to buy them from you! Or if you KNOW anyone who might not use their tickets...I have three kids (who were super sad when I told them of my goof-up), and would love to find one for each, but would take whatever I could get. thanks! It would pay $150 per day. We are looking for kids between the ages of 6 - 13 years of age. The reason they'd like to use twins is to split up the work hours since children can only be on set for 8 hours at a time. That being said, parents or guardians would have to make arrangements so that one person is with the child who is on set at all times. Tentative shoot dates are October 6,7, 10 and 11th. These dates could move around depending on weather. Your child would have to be willing to miss school to participate and get the appropriate Child Labor paperwork done. It's important to know that for this scene, there will be a lot of action and kids may be required to run, dodge and react.
