[Highland Park] free laundry detergent

I switched to a high efficiency washer, so I have a 1/2 box of Trader Joe's brand powdered detergent and a half bottle of Purex. These are on the edge of my front porch, free for the taking. 5541 Beverly Place, on the right if you come from Negley. The powdered detergent is in an open box so I put it in a plastic bag. Jana

If you have a son or relative named Zachary, this is a great gift! It is a personalized "safe" with top slot for coins to use as a piggy bank. My son used it for other treasures. It has a fake combination lock that opens after turning a couple of times & it makes a little ringing sound as the door opens automatically. My cousin bought it from the company listed in the bottom photo. Selling for $10.00.

Literary HP-ers, Does anyone have the book, Pittsburgh Noir, edited by Kathleen George? If so, would that kind person be willing to loan it to me for one day for a book discussion? I loaned my copy to someone, and need to refer to the book during the discussion Tuesday, Aug 30. If, by chance, you haven't read this book and are a fan of rather dark short stories, this one is by mostly local authors and features Pittsburgh locales. One is even set in Highland Park!
