We recently moved into our home that sat vacant for quite some time and the backyard is very overgrown (no grass but lots of vegetation). We have not had the time to start cleaning it up as we had hoped given everything else with settling in to a new house. If you are available for yardwork or can recommend someone, please let me know. [Highland Park] contractors recommended for foundation issue

Hi, I placed a request on the listserv this weekend looking for contractors that would be able to fix my foundation because I'm getting water in my basement during heavy rains. Many people emailed me saying that they're dealing with this issue as well and asked that I share the recommendations I received. If you have an old home with a sandstone foundation it just seems to be a matter of time before you get a water issue. Unfortunately I only got two recommendations, listed below. [Highland Park] missing a trash can?

Some prankster left a full trash can on our porch late last night. We noticed it early, set it on the curb, and the trash was emptied. It is a dark green Rubbermaid, with black handles and wheels. Now on the sidewalk in front of our house. 6311 Jackson St. Paola
