[Highland Park] Curb Alert: Basketball hoop

We're setting out a basketball hoop. It has an L-shaped post that mounts on a horizontal surface with 4 carriage bolts, and then a diagonal support piece that mounts a little higher - it's currently attached to our garage with an i-bolt. I believe the backboard can be adjusted to different heights. It needs a little love and paint, but is quite sturdy and in structurally good shape. We're setting it out on the curb Sunday afternoon. We're planning on turning our coat clost into a powder room and are looking for places to store our coats. I had the idea to put coat hooks on our living room wall in the corner, but would like to possibly hide them with something decorative. We love the oriental look and are considering something like Japanese shoji doors, but we are "householdularly challenged" and need someone who understands what is involved to advise us and/or create it for us... on a budget. Can anyone recommend someone to do that?

I have 25 vintage ties that belonged to my Dad and I had great plans to do something creative with them. Well, 35 years later and they are still ties waiting for a creative person..... doesn't look like I am going to get this project done. So if you or someone you know would like them and will put them to good use, just give a call and they are yours. I also have a stack of beautiful National Geographic Traveler magazines. Not National Geographic, but their "traveler" edition. Great photos of course and great ideas of wonderful places to visit. These would be a good resource for children's school projects. All these patterns are no longer produced. The Lenox is primarily the "Wheat" pattern, cream colored china with Wheat design in the middle and 14k gold borders. There are a few pieces of other patterns that are also cream and gold. Approximately 75 pieces, all in absolutely perfect condition. Asking $1250.00 for the entire lot. Will also consider selling pieces separately. The flowery Paul Muller Selb, Bavarian china, "Wakefield" pattern is very old and rare. It was my grandmother's china. Approximately 76 pieces. Five pieces have small cracks -- others are in perfect condition. Replacement value of all would be over $1300. Selling for $650.00. The last photo is one set of 8 dishes of "Myott" of Staffordshire, also very old and rare. In perfect condition. I can't identify the pattern and can't even find it on Ebay! $100.00.
