Tai Chi Monday at St. Andrew’s Tai Chi, practiced by men and women of all ages, is an ancient Chinese system of exercise with slow and gentle motion that raises and balances the energy of the body leading to improved health and vitality. In addition Tai Chi can be a Martial Art or system of self-defense and a meditation in motion. For several years we have had a Tai Chi class at St Andrew’s on Monday nights. Our instructor, Highland Park resident Judy Crow, trained in the Yang Style Long Form with Y.K. Chou and has been teaching Tai Chi for over twenty-seven years in the Pittsburgh area. If you are interested in Tai Chi this would be a great time to start. This ten-week course begins on Monday, September 12th and runs from 6:30 – 8 PM. From 6:30 to 7 PM Judy will review the Introduction and Basics. Then, from 7 to 8 PM she will go through the Chi Exercises and the Yang Style Long Form for all levels. The fee for each 10-week course is $55.00 per person. These 1 ½ hour sessions are held in Brooks Hall at St. Andrews. [Highland Park] Lost jack russell

Hi Neighbors! Happy New Year. I just saw an older male jack russell terrier wandering around the area of Jackson and Sheridan streets. I couldn't do anything because I had both of my dogs with me and he was being aggressive towards them. I didn't want him to try to pick a fight with two dogs that both outweigh him by over 100lbs. So, I just told him to go home until he started walking up the hill on Sheridan. He was wearing a collar with a blue tag on it. I hope he gets home safely!! Olga
