Hello neighbors! If anyone knows of or works with youth that may be interested in social change and community action planning, see writeup below!! This is a great opportunity for teens! The Three Rivers Community Foundation is recruiting high school youth to serve as board members this Spring for their Teens 4 Change (T4C) program. The goal of T4C is to empower youth ages 14-18 to be active leaders in their community. Fifteen youth will be selected to act as a “board of directors” to learn about, create, and conduct an entire grant cycle from start to finish and then share what they have learned as grant-makers and philanthropists with their communities. This program was inspired by The Fund for Santa Barbara’s Youth Making Change program. The Fund for Santa Barbara is a sister fund in the Funding Exchange, a network of progressive foundations. *Applications are due by November 4th , 2011*. Great idea - we used this for a while but our dog runs down the stairs really fast and was always knocking it over. New ones sell for $25 to $40 - yours for $7 (OBO) 2) *Hairdryer, new in box:* never used (but I plugged it in and it does work). Conair 1875 Watt Speed Drying System with Quiet Fan design. Liberty, possibly L'ville?) b) you KNOW someone named JT who has recently acquired a (412) 661-xxxx number JT is giving out the wrong phone number. I know this because the number he is giving out is ours. So if you are JT, and you were wondering why education orgs and the life insurance people and a very nice-sounding young woman and a bunch of others have not called you back, it is because you are giving them the wrong phone number. Please stop. I am getting a couple calls a day for you. None of them are collection calls; all appear to be people you probably wanted to hear back from.
