Music Together classes are starting next Monday, January 31 at the Pittsburgh Children's Museum at 9:30 AM. Visit www.mtfirstnotes.com for more information and to register for this or any of our other locations. You do not have to be a member of the museum to enjoy these wonderful classes! Music Together is a music and movement program for families with children ages 0 - 5. Big Kids classes for children ages 5 - 7 are available at the Wilkins School Community Center in Regent Square. We've had many happy Highland Park families in our classes over the years - please join us at Music Together First Notes!

Standins and Photo-Doubles are very important to a Production. A Standin is the person who stands in place of the lead actor for lighting, camera tests and scene blocking. When the shot is set up, the Standin steps aside and the actor films the scene. A Photo-double is actually on camera. This is someone that very closely resembles the actor and is used for multiple shots in place of the actor. You never clearly see the double's face and they do not have any speaking lines. This pilot will shoot in the Pittsburgh area from February 8- February 25. (No weekends). Standins/Doubles will basically be needed everyday. The pay rate for standins is $105 for 8 hours. Rate for doubles is $150 for 8 hours. Your child would need to be willing to miss all school during this time. If chosen you would fill out Child Labor Paperwork with signatures from your school district to make everything legal. There will be an On-Set Tutor for the duration of filming. The child would also need one guardian on set with him everyday. No other siblings allowed on set. Specifications: Caucasian boy between the ages of 7-9 years old. Height must be between 46.5"-49"(3'8.5-4'0). Weight between 45lbs-54lbs. Brunette hair (not black). No tan. Boys should not be shy. They should be attentive and take direction well. Open Call being held at Nancy Mosser Casting (3583 Butler Street Pittsburgh, PA 15201) on Wednesday, January 26th from 2pm-6pm. PLEASE CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TIME. I heard there was a power surge on King Ave. a week ago and I lost my computer...I can't get an appointment with Geek Squad until Feb. 10th to come do a diagnostic...can anyone recommend another service or person that might be able to come sooner.
