[Highland Park] Toddler story time in FRENCH

Hello Neighbors! Are you interested in having your toddler immersed in French through stories and play? I am trying to put together a group of at least 6 toddlers (and one parent per toddler) to participate in a story time immersion through Little Linguists, Inc. PWSA Board Member Councilman Patrick Dowd, the Highland Park Community Development Corporation (HPCDC) and PWSA have formed a successful partnership to make future development a reality in Highland Park. Morningside and Stanton Heights are working together to establish a greenway along the Allegheny River. The vision of a greenway was first generated by residents during Morningside Area Community Council's creation of a neighborhood business district plan. The plan generated a list of assets that benefit the community and surrounding areas. The development of the greenway is an example of a community asset that will preserve and enhance the quality of the community, while maintaining a unique environmental benefit. Join Councilman Patrick Dowd and Council District 7 staff in the community-wide activity of "Pothole-Spotting." Look for us out in the neighborhoods over the next few weeks finding and photographing the worst potholes on the roads. [Highland Park] Bus damaged car - any witnesses?

A bus hit my car today (8/31) around 8:55 at the corner of N St Clair and Elgin St. I just wanted to check to see if anyone was on the bus and saw it happen. I didn't see the number of the bus from my window but know it was green and was rerouted onto Elgin due to the work on Bryant St. Also, if anyone has dealt with this kind of thing with the Port Authority before, I'd appreciate any advice.

Dear Neighbors, My son's Cub Scout Pack, Pack 274, is holding their fall recruitment meeting Monday, September 20th at 6:45pm at Liberty School in Shadyside. We recruit kids from Liberty as well as Dillworth and homeschoolers in the area, but are open to any boys who are interested. What do they do? Cub Scouts meet weekly and learn new skills and spend time with other boys their age as well as with a parent or other interested adult. Our Pack also camps yearly as a Pack and has a pinewood derby race, annual bake-off, annual talent show, plans trips to hike and is open to any other ideas participating families may come up with. Somebody rudely placed 3 tires near my garage entrance. Garbage man won't take them. If you want them, come and take them. They are the following type and in decent shape: (Two) Futura tires: 215/65R16 (one) Goodyear Wrangler: SR-AP265/60R18 You can find them in the Alley (Velie Way) behind my house at 5506 Wellesley Ave. (near King Ave) I'm home, but please just take them.
