PWSA Board Member Councilman Patrick Dowd, the Highland Park Community Development Corporation (HPCDC) and PWSA have formed a successful partnership to make future development a reality in Highland Park. Morningside and Stanton Heights are working together to establish a greenway along the Allegheny River. The vision of a greenway was first generated by residents during Morningside Area Community Council's creation of a neighborhood business district plan. The plan generated a list of assets that benefit the community and surrounding areas. The development of the greenway is an example of a community asset that will preserve and enhance the quality of the community, while maintaining a unique environmental benefit. Join Councilman Patrick Dowd and Council District 7 staff in the community-wide activity of "Pothole-Spotting." Look for us out in the neighborhoods over the next few weeks finding and photographing the worst potholes on the roads.
