[Highland Park] Missing Cat?

We saw a smallish, black and brown cat with white chest and paws in our front yard this morning. When we opened the front door, it took off down the sidewalk. Is anyone missing a cat that fits this description? If so, he/she was on the 5500 block of Wellesley Avenue around 9:30am on Sunday. -- Margo Dominicis

[Highland Park] mattress for sale

Hi neighbors, I have a queen size Sealy Calais pillow top firm mattress with box spring, very nice and used for only three years, with metal frame. It is almost 15" and very plush and comfy. I was about to post this on Craig's list and decided to see if anyone in the neighborhood would like to buy it. I cannot remember what I purchased it for, but I checked current prices (the current model is called Crystal Creek) and the cheapest I found for a new one like this is $1,200 for the set plus the frame. I will sell this set for $450.00. We could provide some assistance with moving it as well. Judi Teeter

I do ask for feedback from the HP list, but then I take all those names and go check them out at Angie's List and see what the rest of Pittsburgh has to say about the same contractors. I am a microsoft Access database programmer and I would be willing to donate my time to CREATE, SET UP, and PROGRAM (menus and all) an Access database for this purpose. I enjoy doing this. BUT, I despise entering data! So if we could get a few volunteers to keep up with the data, I'd be willing to stay on as consultant for any program bugs or new features you would like to implement as long as someone ELSE took care of maintaining data. Hi Neighbors, We're doing some end-of-summer cleaning, and clearing out two IKEA sofas. The first sofa has some faint pen marks here and there on the arms; but its cushion covers are removable and washable. The second sofa pictured is actually white underneath and comes with the cover shown--plus one solid black, one solid cream, and one solid fuchsia cover. Both in good condition. Yours to haul away. [Highland Park] Harry Emmitt

Your warning comes late for me. Harry Emmit had been highly recommended by a couple of people on the list. A month ago I called him to fix a leak in my garage. He pressured me into having the roof fixed that very day without getting other estimates. I kept asking if the water might not be coming in from the ground. He assured me that the roof repair would take care of the problem. The next time it rained there was water in the garage again in the in the same place. He came back once after many phone calls, but not when it was raining. He acknowledged that he needed to be there when it was raining, and said he would fix the problem. But each time I've called during a rain he hasn't answered and he has not returned messages. I've paid $500 for nothing. Hi everyone - We're new transplants to Highland Park from Squirrel Hill and I'd heard there was a dog park near the main entrance of the park. Last night we wandered up there with our pup, but couldn't find it. Do I have outdated information or did I miss it? I admit we weren't very exhaustive in our searching. :) Thanks! Cate

HP Photosmart 2710 All-In-One printer/fax/scanner/copier, used for several years but still works fine: $25.00 Also have the following HP Inkjet cartridges (new) to sell: 1. HP 75 (tricolor): $10.00 2. HP 75XL (tricolor): $10.00 3. HP 97 (tricolor): $10.00 I recently upgraded to a more robust printer that can handle the large volume of printing that I do for grad school and don't need these printers or cartridges.
