Hi everyone! Sorry for the short notice but I am in need of a babysitter for daytime hours Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. My daughter's regular daycare provider had a family emergency and I'm scrambling to find some to watch over her while I work these two days. I've had great responses before when I've posted on here...in fact there was a wonderful girl I found who's number I've since lost (I don't need a sitter that often)...maybe she'll respond again! Anyway, I'm a chef and I work downtown...the hours needed would be 7:45 am to around 4 pm (or earlier). My daughter Angie is 6 and doesn't start school until Thursday. [Highland Park] Stolen iPod

My video iPod was recently stolen from my car near the corner of Mellon and Callowhill. It was a (rather expensive) birthday present from my wife, so I thought I'd make an appeal to the neighborhood. If anyone has any information about a video iPod in a black, rubbery "skin" along with a car adapter, please let me know. If you remove the skin, my name and phone number are actually imprinted directly on the device. Please, if anyone can help me, I'd just like it back. We can't really afford to replace it. I live at 910 North Negley, and I have recently discovered and supplemented a large pile of excellent fill/garden dirt on the side of the porch between 910 (the first house on the corner of Negley and Jackson) and our neighbor at 912. There is also quite a lot of scrap lumber, in good shape and in good long lengths, ranging from railroad ties to 1x4s. Free to anyone who wants to come get it, but, as always,there's a catch.
