Does anyone have a groundhog trap that we can borrow? (This is larger than a rat or squirrel trap--around 10" x 12" x 36".) We will be happy to pay with some of the vegetables that our groundhog will not be eating once he is caught! Thanks. Sue Bialostosky

Hello Neighbors My sister is looking for a large piece of outdoor carpet to put in her backyard. It is currently just one large patch of dirt and rocks. Her main request is that the carpet is free. [Highland Park] Windshield Repair Thanks

Thank you all so much for the advice on getting my windshield repair. Here are the recommendations: Ryan's Auto Glass (in Sharpsburg) Glass Doctor (in Wexford) - 724-934-3550 Walters Automotive, on Baum Blvd. Iezzi on Bryant St. Safelite Auto Glass I ended up going with Glass Doctor after Ryan's gave me the runaround. They refused to come out and look at my windshield after they found out we had tried to fix it ourselves with a kit from Trak Auto (they said as a result it "couldn't be fixed") I can't say enough good things about Glass Doctor - I got your recommendations by noon today (Thursday) called them at 1pm, the woman on the phone was so nice and even called my insurance company while I was on the phone (3-way call) the guy was out here by 3pm, done by 3:30pm, and it looks GREAT. Thank you for the robust response to my inquiry regarding the pediatrician! In summary most recommended the following groups/doctors - listed in no particular order of rank/preference: 1. Dr. Anderson, East Liberty Family Health Center 412-261-2802 2. Dr. Hildebrandt 412-363-7700 3. CCP-Pittsburgh Pediatrics (Drs. Butler & Stewart) 681-1050 4. CCP-Bass/Wolfson (Drs. Wolfon, Breck, Kovel, Davitt, Voight) 422-3590 5. CCP-GIL (Drs. Indorato, Glick, Somers) 681-2200 6. CCP-Oakland (Dr. Romberger) 683-5534 It also appears from the responses that there is not a group in Highland Park for parents - although there is a clear interest in forming a local Parenting Support Network or something similar. Once the dust settles a bit in our new home, this would be something I would be interested in pursuing with those interested parties. Becky Moore provided a link to a greater Pittsburgh resource for parents interested in getting together for activities, specifically a group called "modern moms" and one she is co-organizer "punk rock parenting": http://newparents.meetup.com/386/?gj+sj5 I have already logged on and it looks like a wonderful resource to get plugged into. This morning I found a kitten in a tree in my back yard on De Victor Place, he/she may have come from a house on Heberton. I have no idea how old he/she is, but it is pretty small. Gray cat, no collar.
