I have this pair of slippers that my Grandmother made for me, probably 25 years ago. It seems impossible that it could be so long ago- maybe 20 or 22. Anyway they are on their last leg to be sure. I LOVE LOVE these slippers. I wear them all winter, in the evenings around the house. I had another pair, but they fell apart a few years ago. Anyway, I’d like to find someone to knit me a few pairs like these. Partly because they are just perfect slippers and partly because they will remind me of my Grandmother. Especialluy if they can be knit with a strong durable sole. I’ve even considered learning to knit myself so that I can make some like this.
