Over the last year the St. Andrew's Adult Programs Series, "From Here to Eternity: Christian Conversations about Life, Death, and Resurrection," has gathered groups of folks around the parish for reflection on a wide variety of topics and perspectives related to the end of this life and the life of the world to come.  We've had Bible Study and discussions of theological perspectives.  We've explored art, poetry, and film.  We've looked at the practicalities of end of life issues.    On Saturday evening, February 19, our own chantreuse extraordinaire Dixie Tymitz will present a cabaret performance, "Dead People: The Musical" (see flyer attached), as a fun musical appreciation of and tribute to some who have gone on before us.   It will, I know,  be a most enjoyable evening of song.  The event is free, but as those who have gone before us continue to enrich our lives, so we will receive "free will" contributions this evening to support the important work in our neighborhood of the East End Cooperative Ministry (East Liberty) and Earthen Vessels Outreach (Bloomfield/Garfield).   Hope to see you there!   BruceR http://www.standrewspgh.org http://revbmrobison.blogspot.com/
