[Highland Park] Green Neighborhood Program
There's a great program targetting our area right now to install energy-efficient sink aerators, shower heads, light bulbs and door-sweeps. CCI's program is funded by a grant and is *free* and not restricted based on income, although I gather that some of the services they recommend may have income restrictions. Check out their web site at: <http://www.ccicenter.org/> You can also pick up a flyer at the HPCC booth at the Reservoir of Jazz, or see a representative from CCI when they plan to visit the upcoming HPCC meetings. -Rudy GREEN NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAM CCI's Green Neighborhood program wants to remind you that this fall the weather will be colder and gas prices will be higher. If you live within the 15206 ZIP code, CCI's Green Neighborhood can ease the pain with a free installation of energy-saving materials to make your home less drafty and lower your utility bills. Participants will also be referred to additional energy-saving, home repear, and social service programs for which they qualify. Call Kevin Brown 412-431-4449 x226 Conservation Consultants, Inc.
