On Thursday May 5 EECM will host the annual Take a Son and Daughter to Work Day. This one-day volunteer opportunity shows urban kids their career possibilities. Growing up in poverty robs kids of opportunities and experiences. Many kids don't even know the opportunities available to them - this day is one way we change that for these kids. All you need to do is be a willing tour guide through your job and company, for one day. Answer questions, go to lunch, and talk. Show an excited young person what their options are.
