I work at the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society on the North Side. A small black dog (poss miniature poodle) was surrendered to the shelter the other day by a woman who found him somewhere in Highland Park. Unfortunately, he is in extremely bad shape and will have to be put down on Wednesday (8/8/12) to avoid additional suffering. There is a picture of him on the website (wpahumane.org). He is listed as a stray dog. If you are the owner and would like to retrieve the body please contact the shelter at 412-321-4625.
