Looking for a summer car for those epic roadtrips? Look no further! 1999 Forester L with 95302 miles. $2000 This beauty is a strong runner having just completed a Pittsburgh to South Carolina road trip. Would not hesitate to take it anywhere. I hate to part with it as it has been such a reliable friend, but a growing family demands more space. The good: -low miles -strong engine, transmission, and AWD -cold A/C -no "check engine light" The bad: -the ABS light is on as I just had the system disabled. The ABS was engaging unnecessarily creating a hazard. The ABS tone rings are rusted and would need to be replaced. Mechanic said it would be safer to disable the wheel speed sensors than to drive it with malfunctioning ABS. The ugly: -a little rust starting to bubble over the passenger side rear wheel well.
