Thank you to all for posting the notices about the man scamming the neighborhood with a request for money to pay for a tow for his car that broke down. He just came to my door on Highview Street, rang the bell this morning at about 6:45 a.m., and after he left, I called the police. My screen door was open, but locked. He wasn't threatening, but did say he was a neighbor living at (and gave a number) a house down the street. I told him I didn't have any cash in the house. He turned around and approached my neighbor across the street, and I then went outside and told him I thought he was the same man who was going around the neighborhood approaching people for money. He left in a hurry to get his bike parked down the street. The police responded quickly and were going to look for him. Patricia
