Hello All I will be sharpening fabric scissors and rotary blades this weekend outside of Firecracker Fabrics in Morningside.  Both Saturday and Sunday, I will be parked at 1745 Chislett Street from 11 am to 4 pm for you to drop off your stuff to be sharpened. I will be charging $7 for scissors and $3 for rotary blades.  I can do household scissors, pinking shears, and scissors of all sizes.  I can take cash or cards as payment when you pick your items up. Having only done this once before, I do not know exactly how it will go, but my plan is to take the scissors/blades on Saturday and return them on Sunday.  I will be sharpening while I am there, but will be interrupted as folks drop off their items and ask questions.  I only say this to explain that I can not guarantee that I will get items completed to return on Saturday.   If you are not available to pick your items up on Sunday, you can pay me in advance and pick them up later in the week at Firecracker Fabrics. But coming both days will give you the opportunity to check out Firecracker Fabrics.  It is a great little store and a good resource for sewing information.  If you have not been there, you should go and check out their material, patterns, kits and notions.  Plus they are right next to the Cut and Sew Studio, so if you are interested in taking a class to learn or refresh a skill, you can check into that at the same time.
