[Highland Park] Recycling telephone directories
I just wanted to tell everyone that you can recycle old telephone directories, rather than throwing them into a land fill. There is a recycling bin in the parking lot of Home Depot. Every little bit helps. Jean Clickner
Hi neighbors, Further to that, you can recycle any and all old papers, including all of your junk mail, cardboard boxes, frozen food boxes, and paper milk/juice cartons, to Agents of Change Recycling on Rte 8 past Etna, and before Glenshaw Glass. They're open on Saturdays, but its a good idea to call in advance, 412-487-5885. They also will take, every Saturday, your glass bottles and metal food cans, and plastics labeled 1 and 2, just like the city does every other week. Also, until October 19th, you can take your old digital cell phone (which are loaded with poisonous metals) to the Warhol Museum for recycling, to benefit the Rachel Carson Homestead Association in Springdale PA. Just leave them at the admissions desk; they have info on tax deductions. Matt Wrbican JeanJon@aol.com wrote:

Construction Junction in Point Breeze (N. Lexington Ave) also has recycling bins in their parking lot for corrugated cardboard, junk mail, plastics, glass, cans, and phone books. matt wrbican wrote:
