Dear neighbors, I want to extend my deepest thanks to all of you for the tremendous response to my email seeking housing for my visiting Italian PhD student. Many of you responded with offers of housing options, but there were even replies from people who didn't have housing but were willing to open their homes and guest rooms for a short time. I was really touched by all of this and was very proud to be able to tell my visitor about all of the people who were willing to help out at a moment's notice. I'm happy to report that she has found a place here in HP, and we have talked many times about what a wonderful neighborhood this is and how terrific its residents are.
