Dear neighbors, Just wanted to once again remind everyone how important it is to note authorities to suspicious and odd behavior. Last night around midnight, a person on the 6300 block of Stanton Ave. started honking their horn excessively--long and loud. After about 5 minutes, I called the police and then went to stand outside and see if they'd stop. Luckily, a neighbor across the road (I couldn't see who it was) went out and yelled at them to stop after they continued for a few more minutes--thank you to this neighbor for your bravery! It was obnoxious and uncalled for. The police arrived within the following 10 minutes after the person finally stopped, and I'm not sure what the result was as I had to go to bed. As much as it appalls me that they were TWO HOURS away from getting to the recent gay bashing incident last Friday, I'm glad they showed up last night anyway. They will not start patrolling this neighborhood more if we don't call and let them know that they're needed.
