Hello Neighbors,I am interested in how much input everyone has had in the road closure.I am a life-long Highland Park resident and city of Pittsburgh tax-payer.Even though I live close to the park I can not walk there because of one knee replacement and one needed knee replacement.I enjoyed driving to the park, parking close to the gardens or close to the flat entrance to the reservoir where the seniors congregate and walking a shorter distance out and back to my car while enjoying the flowers or trees.BTW...Those seniors have been cut off from their decades old meeting place. (my grandfather met there in the 60's 70's, 80's)The handicapped lot is too far for parking and walking or wheel chairing to park destinations. What about families with picnics or bags to carry from their car. What about emergencies if they need to get back to their cars quickly?I'm sure the bikers are happy, I've talked to several, but they admit they didn't think about the other issues. Did you? What about parking? Are the neighboring streets ready for the onslaught?
