Community meeting re: recent flooding Pittsburgh residents have experienced flooding several times over the summer, most tragically on August 19, which resulted in the loss of four lives on Washington Boulevard. Homeowners and businesses are experiencing untold financial damages. While the events of August 19 served to focus attention on this issue, it is not a new problem. Councilman Peduto is holding a public meeting - providing an opportunity for you to explain the impact that flooding has on your home/business. Representatives from PWSA, the Mayor’s Office and county and state elected officials will be at the meeting. This meeting is open to all Pittsburgh residents.
