Dear highland park residents, I am looking for a new roommate in my lovely two-bedroom apartment located on Baywood street. It is available to the right person - maybe even immediately, but am willing to negotiate move-in date. I am looking for the right person, and that is more important than just finding someone. The lease goes until July 31st 2012, with a possibility of renewal. The landlord is also awesome, a big plus in my experience! Utilities are extra: gas, electric and verizon fios internet. These three total approximately $110 per month per person, less in the warm months. There are coin-operated laundry machines in the basement (brand new, and only $1.25ea.) I do not have cable TV. This apartment came partially furnished, and the dressers are the landlord's, so you may have one for your bedroom. It is spacious (second floor of a house) but not too big so heating the place is reasonable. Sorry no pets - that's the landlord's rule. I am a 27 year old female. I am easy-going, fun-loving, and social but I also enjoy some quiet time to myself. I am a relatively tidy person, but not incredibly particular. I would like a roommate who is able to communicate their needs and wants. I find that communication is the key to every kind of relationship, and living together is certainly no exception. I enjoy cooking, so I love the large kitchen with a gas stove. I cook mostly vegetarian food, but also eat meat occasionally (usually when it's served to me). I practice yoga, knit, watch movies, play card and board games in my free time. I would love to have a monthly social / spiritual gathering, but would not plan such an event without the input and permission of my roommate. Ideally, I would like to live with a student or a young professional like myself. I work in education with mostly M-F hours. There is a bus line nearby on Negley, and plenty of free street parking..
