My husband and I have lived in Highland Park since we moved back to Pittsburgh in 2006 - and we love it! We are selling our house at 6639 Stanton Avenue, but only because we took on a bigger renovation project in Highland Park! We haven't left the area, and no plans to! Our townhouse on Stanton is a great place - we fixed it up and gave it a nice facelift with new hardwood floors on the first floor (designer style...as seen on HGTV), refinished hardwood on the second floor, a new kitchen and bath. It is the best kitchen you'll see in a house this size...I love to cook, and the kitchen is spacious, bright, and absolutely great. We also added the patio which opens up nicely into a sizeable yard. We loved it there with our two pups and entertained frequently. It's a townhouse, but we had many get togethers at our place - it has a nice flow for entertaining. And, of course, the location is great - right across from the tennis courts that were just refinished last year and a hop, skip, and jump from the park entrance.
