My beloved cat has been recently diagnosed with diabetes. On the top of it his pet insurance denied my claims and I got stuck with four-digit bill. The bottle of insulin he got prescribed was $309 plus needles and it is supposed to stay good only for a month or so before the rest gets bad, as I was told. Refrigerated or not. There is no way I can afford to pay this much for Insulin month after month. Are there any people out there in a similar situation with a diabetic cat? Any leads how I can buy a smaller amount of insulin? He needs 2 units twice a day. Orange tabby Georgie thanks you.
