[Highland Park] Feedback Re: Auto Body Shops
On Saturday, I posted a request for good or bad experiences with Lou Iezzi and Sons Auto Body, at 5703 Bryant St. Nine people responded with comments. Eight of them reported favorable experiences, although two of the eight tempered their recommendation with the reservation that Iezzi's is more expensive than other shops. The other comment was difficult to classify; the writer did not report any experience with Iezzi's, but seemed to be endorsing all Bryant St. businesses. There were no unfavorable comments about Iezzi and Sons' work. I also asked if people could recommend other auto body shops in the area. Four people recommended Bonura and Sattler, at 1234 Washington Blvd. City Search reports that "we have heard this business is closed." However, I called them this morning and they are open for business. Two people recommended Mike's Auto Body at 6223 Meadow Street in Larimer. There was one recommendation each for: H. C. Armstrong, at 5470 Penn Ave.; Pittsburgh Collision, at 6130 Butler St., and an unnamed shop in Beechview. (Google lists seven auto body shops in the Beechview area.) Thanks to all of you for your advice. Lloyd Stires "No matter how cynical you get, it's impossible to keep up." Lily Tomlin
