The Highland Park Farmers Market is enduring a transitional year - it MAY remain at the Zoo Parking lot one more year, OR it MAY move to a location around the reservoir. Knowing how a move can devastate a market, the Citiparks managers and Farmers Market Friends are lobbying hard for it to remain in its current location one more year. Lots of factors contribute to the decision, and no matter where it ends up, the Highland Park and surrounding neighborhoods will be affected. Join us on Thursday, April 6th at 7 PM at the Nuin Center to discuss the future of this wonderful community resource and devise strategies for keeping everyone -- the farmers, the customers, the zoo, and the city -- happy!
