Through a combination of gentle stretches, restorative postures, breathing (pranayama), deep relaxation, and meditation, we gently melt stress away. This all levels class is appropriate for every body, including seniors, in addition to students who simply prefer to move at a slower pace. Individualized instruction and modifications are given to accommodate students with chronic symptoms such as muscle or joint pain, stiffness, weakness, or fatigue. Please note that if you are suffering from major medical issues, please contact Kristie to discuss them so that she can help assess whether this class or a private session might be a better way to serve you. **Please bring a yoga mat, pillow or bolster, and a thin blanket.** VISIONING: CREATE THE LIFE YOU DREAM: Tuesday, January 24, 6:00-8:00 pm, $25 per person Lindsey Smith, HHC, will be hosting a Visioning workshop, which will involve creating a strategic map of life changes and goals. It is a powerful tool for effecting change and focusing intentions. (Plus, it's really fun to unleash some creativity!) Begin 2012 with goal-setting and a visual guide to move yourself toward the life you dream about. Space is limited, so register soon. JUNK FOODS + JUNK MOODS: Tuesday, February 7, 6:00-8:00 pm $25 per person, includes a copy of Lindsey's new book! Lindsey Smith, HHC will be running "Junk Foods and Junk Moods," a workshop based on her new book. Founder of “The Real You,” Lindsey helps clients lose weight, increase energy, and gain a healthy lifestyle by uncovering their personal connection with the foods they eat and their moods. Her approach is not a quick-fix, quick-fail diet, but rather a journey toward understanding yourself and the food choices you make. Her solutions are not designed to make clients sacrifice or deprive themselves for health, but to make small changes that build to big results.
