Hey neighbors! Hope it's ok to post something about Shadyside here, I think it is. If not admins, sorry! I'm volunteering to help get a weekly farmer's market off the ground in Shadyside. I've worked on farms before and when I heard this was in the works, I raised my hand to help. Below are details. This has been shared with PASA, Penn's Corner and I'm working my way through a local farm directory. If you have any ideas for farms looking for a market for this upcoming season, please let me know! Also I'm working on lining up free exercise classes from 9-10 and then a family hour with music from like 10:30-11:30 with other activities built in over the season so it should be a lot of fun. Working on maintaining a realistic set of expectations in year 1 but definitely want there to be enough to do to bring families in week over week and keep the farmers happy.
