[Highland Park] Do you want to be trained to sell online (eBay, etc.) & be given some antiques/collectibles to sell?
Hi, I live here in Highland Park, and I have been selling antiques and collectibles online for many years, especially eBay though lately I've branched out. I have limited time to sell things, and I have a storage locker full of antiques and collectibles to sell. I thought someone might value learning how to sell online in return for selling some of the things I have on a 50/50 basis after expenses are deducted. To do this, you need to have your own computer & a digital camera & be able to take fairly decent close-up photos since most of what I have is small stuff. I can provide you with a lot of stuff to sell so there would be no cost to you there until you want to go out looking on your own. I am NOT seeking an employee or assistant. I want to train someone who wants to set up her own business, pay her own taxes, etc. This kind of business can be done from home and in whatever time is available to you morning, afternoon, evening, night, whatever.... I do want you to be serious about earning money in this way or it's not worth my time to train you. If you are interested, contact me via e-mail or 412-362-7607. I will interview the people who contact me and see if it seems like we are compatible and then choose one or possibly two people to train. I am especially interested in helping women to establish their own businesses. I also want to work with people who have good values, including ethics. If you already have your own business and are interested in expanding in this way, I'm open to that too. Thanks very much. janet jai P.S. Unfortunately this is NO get-rich-quick scheme, especially in this economy, but I think we can both earn something this way, and right now I find that every dollar counts. One fun part with online auctions is that sometimes you can earn quite a bit with something that you didn't think was worth much at all. But again, this economy makes that happen less often. You will learn some useful long-term skills. Thanks.
