Hi! I'm interested in working with kids this summer, as a babysitter or a tutor or something in between--basically, I love playing with kids, and teaching them about reading, writing, and art in fun ways. I'm seventeen years old and just graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in Northern Michigan, where I studied creative writing. I have a lot of experience teaching children from working at the Young Writer's Institute, babysitting, and founding a twice-a-week poetry club at an elementary school down the street from my school, as well as being a sister to a spunky 6-year-old. I live in Highland Park and will be in Pittsburgh until the middle of August. I will spend next year living and working in Israel, and will attend Yale University the following fall.
