I own a house on North Sheridan and travel to and from London for months at a time. One of my housemates is has moved out while another is staying on. The housemate who is staying has lived comfortably at the house for 18 months. I want to find one replacement *female *housemate before I head back to London at the end of May! I grew up in this neighborhood and have lived in my family home since my mother passed. I love my house and want to find a respectful person who will be mindful of the space while I am not there. The private space is one bedroom on the second floor, completely remodeled less than 2 years ago. It includes a decorative exposed brick fireplace, a nice sized closet and *CAN *be furnished with dresser and desk, if needed (possibly other pieces too). There is a full bathroom on the second floor. The shared living space on the first floor of the house includes a dining room, living room, powder room, large kitchen, and sun room. There is a nice sized back yard and friendly neighbors. Street parking available and the kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans AND a dishwasher! Also, washer and dryer on the first floor. AND, I just remembered, there is a grill outside. The house is located within easy walking distance to several bus stops, coffee shops and grocery stores. The rent is $300 a month plus utilities. This is perfect for a graduate student. It's a great place to do your work and there are 20-and-30-something neighbors who are good conversation partners. The sun room on the first floor is my favorite part of the house--it's a great place to watch thunderstorms or read a novel.
