I'd like to invite you all, my neighbors, to a Community Open House at the Three Rivers Mothers' Milk Bank this Saturday from 10am - 2pm. Our address is 3127 Penn Ave. in the Strip District. If you are unfamiliar with donor human milk, I'm happy to share more information. All babies benefit from human milk. But, for medically fragile or premature infants, human milk is even more critical. Even life saving. When a mother's own milk is not available, the next best option is milk from carefully screened donors that is thoroughly pasteurized. The Three Rivers Mothers' Milk Bank is dedicated to providing this amazing milk to all babies in need. We are inviting the public to join us, eat some cookies, enjoy an amazing balloon artist, and learn more about the work we are doing. We will also be offering on-site screenings (including the required blood draw) at our event.
