Greenawalt Farm Greenawalt's offerings will be similar to last week with local Amish grown items such as potatoes (sweet, yukon gold and white), onions, turnips, winter squash and cabbage.  They also have shipped-in items including spinach, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, pears, grapes and bananas. An interesting new item is locally milled grains from Stanton Milling Company in New Stanton, PA.  Stanton Milling has been in operation since 1858.  They offer several products: - Buckweat flour - Buckweat pancake mix - Corn meal - Pancake mix For more information:  http://www.stantonmilling.com Greenawalt's always have fresh local eggs and many types of Amish canned items and dried beans.  They also have some cured meat items from Lancaster County- bacon and kielbasa. Kistaco Farm Apples- Kistaco still has a variety of apples grown on their farm.  Yes, this means locally grown apples that are carefully stored at just the right temperature to keep them fresh.  Varieties still available are Fuji, Stayman, Winesap, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, MatsuCrispin, Idared, Rome and Jonagold. Cider- they are still pressing it- fresh every week- the best in Pittsburgh. They will have a variety of shipped-in vegetables. Prepared items include fresh donuts. Fresh baked bread from Wood Street Bread Company is always available.  They pick it up from the bakery real early in the morning so you don't have to. Zang's Greenhouse...Locally grown items this week include, micro greens, micro arugula, mixed small head lettuce, rutabaga, beets, winter squash, onions, celery root, parsnips, mushrooms, shallots, white and red potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Non-local items include spinach and swiss chard, eggplants, peppers, asparagus, garlic, onions, green beans, and several varieties of tomatoes.  An interesting Florida citrus item is honey bell oranges.  They are very sweet and juicy. In the flower department- Rick will have hyacinth, tulips and amaryllis. Kew Park Coffee Bar- Check out our newly chalked signage!  We have a fresh batch of beans that were roasted by Commonplace Coffee Roasters.  Also, will have fresh squeezed grapefruit, tangerine, and orange juices. PA Made Cheese-   We have a new batch of Mushroom-Leek cheese from Common Folk Organics in Lancaster County.  This is a very unique cheese, and we have not had it in quite a while.  We also have a fresh batch of chevre and feta from Riverview Dairy.  As mentioned above, we also have a special visit from the folks from The Ark Farm in Jefferson County.
