Hello HP Listserv, Colleagues at Pitt were trying to recruit families with teenagers between 14-16 years of age, to complete some surveys online. I thought I would share that info below, especially after all the recent school closures. Please feel free to share the announcements with others, etc. Hope everyone is safe and healthy, Jamie. ---- Summary of the FInD study: Our project is looking for teens between the ages of 14-16 years old and one of their parents. We are hoping to better understand family income on parenting, stress and teen perceptions. We believe teen perceptions have a strong impact on school engagement and motivation. Our project hopes to better explain how these experiences affect families. Surveys are completed (at home/online) once a month for a period of 8 months. Survey questions are related to family finances, stress, school performance and parenting. Parents and teens are compensated for participating (about $250 each).
