[Highland Park] The Environmental Charter School
Hi neighbors! Over the last three years, The Environmental Charter School at Frick Park (ECS) has provided a vibrant, innovative educational program for students in grades K through 5. By 2013, ECS will accommodate grades K-8. As the student population continues to grow, the campus will need to expand beyond its current location at 829 Milton Street. On December 7, 2010, ECS will be proposing expansion to the former Park Place School building, 309 South Braddock Avenue, to the City of Pittsburgh Planning Commission. If approved, the Park Place campus will then accommodate grades K-3, while the Milton Street campus will accommodate grades 4-8. Your support is paramount for this project's success. There is a petition being circulated, both a hard copy and online asking for community support for this expansion. Please sign only if you are a City of Pittsburgh resident, and please sign only once (paper or online, but not both). Even if you don't live in the city, you can ask your friends, family, co-workers, etc. who DO live in the city to support ECS by signing. Feel free to forward this email to your friends too.... To sign, just click the link below to connect to the PCO website. There you'll find a button to click on to fill out the petition. It only takes 2 seconds. http://www.ecspco.org/pco_blog/ Thanks very much! Lydia Blank HP Neighbor
