[Highland Park] Media Release about recent Burglaries

HOME INVASION ACTOR ARRESTED FOR ADDITIONAL BURGLARIES Pittsburgh Bureau of Police robbery squad detectives have arrested Richard Peterson, age 32, in connection with a series of burglaries dating from September 10, 2004, to June 14, 2005. Peterson, address listed on Orphan Street, was arrested at 11:00 a.m. today at the Allegheny County Jail where he has been held since his June 17 arrest in connection with the June 11 Meadow Street home invasion involving an elderly woman. The burglaries include: 2005: June 14 - 600 block of Thompson Street - residence ransacked. June 10 - 700 block of Larimer Avenue - video game machines broken into at this business. 2004: Sept. 23 - 800 block of Mellon Street - resident observed actor attempting to break into his home. Sept. 15 - 1400 block of N. Negley - wallets stolen from residence. Sept. 13 - 1100 block of N. Euclid - video and stereo equipment stolen from residence. Sept. 10 - 800 block of Portland Street - CDs stolen from the residence. Sept. 10 - 1000 block of Portland Street - two jars of coins stolen from residence.
