There is a proverb which says “The best time to plant a tree is
twenty years ago. The second best
time is now.” Our community met that second best time
last week, but it was a first time for so many of us in terms of neighborhood
enjoyment, camaraderie , and just plain old fashioned fun. We spanned many
generations in our accomplishment, from the young ones to the elders –
everybody pitched in and we planted trees such that our young ones will be the
elders for the next planting. Thanks so much for the opportunity to meet and
greet neighbors and our talented “Tree Specialists”.  Paolo Lugari, the genius of “Gaviotas” said that every
single person should become involved in planting 100 trees in their lifetime –
Well we have started, haven’t we?
