I just got back from dropping off yard debris at the drop-off site in Point Breeze. They wanted to charge me $20 to drop off my yard waste. Starting February 1st, they are now charging trucks to drop off yard debris. If you have a car or SUV, it is free. I looked this up on the City's web site, and it is posted there. It says you have to have a money order also. It would have been nice if they would have put that on the garbage pickup schedule where they tell you what you can drop off. So now I have to put my yard debris out with the trash to go to a landfill, or I have to borrow a car to drop the stuff off. I could pay the $20, but that is not going to happen. Anyone have a car I can borrow to fill with yard waste? Just joking, I will use my mother's. I plan to call some City offices about this. Bob Staresinic
