In the regular pattern at St. Andrew's, with services of Choral Evensong on the First Thursday evening and Third Sunday afternoon of each month--the Parish Choir of St. Andrew's Church, under the direction of Peter Luley, will sing Evensong this Thursday, February 7, at 8 p.m. The Propers of the Service will observe the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ, with readings from the First Epistle of St. John andthe Gospel according to St. Luke. Music will include the Herbert Howells Gloucester service and the anthem, O Nata Lux, by Thomas Tallis. In recital following the service will be Carolyn Edwards, violin, Linda Ellison, piano, and Charlotta Ross, cello, performing the Beethoven Piano Trio, Op.1, No.1.
