Re: [Highland Park] Missing Packages from Front Porch
Sorry about your packages. I was lucky enough to be home and within earshot of the doorbell when UPS came to my place yesterday. However, that same day (Friday, 12/19) I received a card from my mother with the envelope slit open on 2 sides. I called USPS 800# right away to report it. Anyone else have a problem like this? --- On Sat, 12/13/08, Becky Kennedy <becky.kennedy@gmail.com> wrote: From: Becky Kennedy <becky.kennedy@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [Highland Park] Missing Packages from Front Porch To: "Margo Dominicis" <nytestar33@gmail.com> Cc: neighborhood@highlandparkpa.com Date: Saturday, December 13, 2008, 9:35 PM I also have recently had some packages delivered by UPS to my front porch which I never actually received. Seems there may be a link here. I suppose we should make police reports when this kind of thing happens...though I'll be happy to join Margo in her optimism, so if anyone mistakenly received some baking/cooking supplies from Bed Bath and Beyond or some Advent candles from CBD.com, please let me know. I'm hoping they just got delivered to the wrong house and not that someone has taken them (Seriously, who really wants a box full of cheap cat toys and a vampire novel anyway?) There were 2 other packages that were delivered and left on the front porch yesterday that were still there when we got home from work. I've already contacted USPS and FedEx to try to track them down, but I'm hoping that they turn up somewhere in the neighborhood. If you have any information, please contact me at the phone number or email address below.
