Screech Owl Calling Last Night

A weird, spooky call heard last night at 9 PM between Beatty and North Euclid near Jackson St--the sharp descending whinny of an Eastern Screech Owl! Very cool; probably more common near the Park but I don't recall having heard it before near my house. Richard

New subject: Battery Powered lawn mower
Howdy neighbors My gas-powered mower bit the dust so I’m in the market for a battery powered mower. Anybody have one they are looking to get rid of? Alternately, would anyone be willing to loan (or rent) me their electric mower for an hour? (my lawn only takes 30 minutes to mow) This way I can test-drive a mower AND take care of my lawn! Finally, any recommendations or warnings about particular makes/models would be appreciated. Thanks! -Todd
