PROBLEMS IN JULY - BE VIGILANT Two Highland Park residents wrote in July to report problems. Someone stole bikes from a garage in one incident, and someone was stealing cell phones and cameras when home owners walked in on him in the other incident. Let's all watch out for our neighbors. EMERGENCY MEETING (From Wired Blocks Network) The Pittsburgh Zone 4 Public Safety Council is calling an Emergency Meeting for August 25 at 7:00pm. West End Elliott Citizens Council will be holding a Meeting and Candle Light Vigil on August 22 at 7:00pm These meetings are open to all who are concerned about the current situation with police, crossing guard, and EMT layoffs, and zone closings.
