[Highland Park] Come speak to Zone 5 Police about safety in your neighborhood
The Zone 5 Public Safety Council meets on the second Tuesday of every month to discuss public safety in Zone 5 (the District 7 neighborhoods of Bloomfield, East Liberty, Garfield, Highland Park, Morningside, and Stanton Heights are all served by Zone 5 police.) These meetings are a great opportunity to speak directly with Commander O'Connor about incidents in your neighborhood. Occasional special presentations supplement the discussion - previous presenters have included burglary detectives, gang/group intelligence, and the curfew center. Lt. Commander Dixon, who is in charge of the night shift, will fill in for Commander O'Connor this month while he is on vacation. The Public Safety Council would also like to take time at this meeting to hear your thoughts on what you would like to see in 2012 - special guests, themed meetings, etc. I look forward to seeing you there.
