New COVID-19 restrictions announced for PA
COVID-19 cases are surging across the nation and PA is no exception: The state is now averaging 10,000 new confirmed cases a day, has a record number of COVID-19 patients in the hospital, reported 248 new deaths Thursday, and the statewide death toll has passed 12,000. Governor Wolf announced new restrictions late last week, including no indoor dining at restaurants; a closure of gyms, theaters and casinos; no K-12 school sports; and indoor gatherings limited to 10 people. Houses of worship are exempt but encouraged to avoid congregating inside. For more info, see: https://www.wtae.com/article/gov-wolf-secretary-of-health-dr-levine-announce... Please abide by these restrictions and remember to wear masks and stay at least 6' apart when you're near people who are not in your household. Everyone is suffering "pandemic fatigue", but given the current spike in cases, vigilance is more important now than ever. Remember that we stay apart now so that no one is missing later. -- *Highland Park Community Council* Visit our website by clicking here. <https://hpccpgh.org/>
